Missing me?

It's been 11 days since my last post. And tonight's post will be only very brief. akid's parents are in town, enjoying the texas cold snap as a fresh change of pace from a minnesota cold snap, and we've been working our tails off when we aren't hanging out with them. But a couple of items of note:
1. We bought tomatoes at the farmer's market on Saturday (when it was at least 30 degrees outside--a silly day to go to the farmer's market). And as it turns out, even though it's early, the tomatoes are apparently from Florida and not bad.
2. We've seen several movies in the last eleven days, including:
Big Momma's House II--this will win the best-birthday-present-I-ever-gave award
Firewall--STINKY
Matador--Not bad at all. I liked Pierce Brosnan in this movie alot. and I don't like pierce brosnan at all so he did well. I also liked the lead female who's name escapes me now.
Hopefully, i'll get back on the blog bandwagon soon.
ALTHOUGH, i should warn my audience (and myself) that a quick review of every diary/journal i have ever tried to keep will reveal that they all peter out something like this:
pretty regular writing
followed by a brief dry spell
followed by an apologetic note to myself (and my imaginary audience?) that I will try to write more
followed by empty pages
let's hope i fare better in the world of blogging

Missing you? Yes. Do I have questions? Yes. To whom did you give Big Momma's House II? Do I have reminders yes? The lead female's name is Hope Davis. And I, for one, hope that the blog will survive and thrive.

I could have written what you said about "journaling." What a challenge to do something like WRITE every day! I really can't imagine myself going to BMHII, but I would probably enjoy it if I did.

Also, it was this comment which spurred Gene to create his own blog - I had been generally discouraging to him for which I now feel much regret. And kudos and kudos and more kudos for Steve's wonderful assistance in getting him started!
